PIPolyimide
Duratron PI performs well in applications that need wear resistance and long service life in harsh environments. It suits applications whose thermal conditions rule out Duratron PAI but do not call for the exceptional heat resistance of Duratron CU60 PBI. It is used in demanding applications in the automotive, aerospace, defense, electrical, glass, nuclear and semiconductor industries, and is available as thick sheet, large geometrically complex plates and large-diameter tubes.

Standard grade · brown
The base grade of the Duratron PI family, made from natural polyimide resin. It offers top physical properties and excellent electrical and thermal insulation.
Among Duratron PI grades, the excellent electrical insulation, dielectric properties and high ionic purity apply to this grade.
Duratron® D7045G PI
PI + graphite · dark gray
Contains 15% graphite to enhance wear and friction resistance.
