PSUPolysulfone
PSU 1000 polysulfone is an amber, translucent engineering thermoplastic that works over a wide temperature range, with good heat resistance, electrical insulation, hydrolysis resistance and radiation stability. It offers better mechanical and electrical properties and chemical resistance than polycarbonate, and outperforms it where higher temperatures, chemicals or autoclave sterilization are involved, typically in analytical instruments, medical devices and semiconductor processing equipment.

Technical notes
Steam cleaning equipment inserts: PSU 1000 inserts reduce chemical attack on nylon distribution blocks in hot water and steam cleaning equipment. Previously made of nylon.
Manifolds: manifolds machined from PSU 1000 sheet are optically clear, can be radiation sterilized and are durable, without cracking or breaking from environmental factors.
Distributor valves: PSU 1000 parts in poultry processing lines offer chemical resistance and minimal expansion. Previously made of stainless steel.
Medical equipment parts: machined PSU 1000 parts suit dialysis equipment and withstand repeated autoclave sterilization cycles. Previously made of stainless steel.
