MC NylonMC nylon

MC nylon is an engineering plastic. Its polymerization and molding methods differ from standard nylon 6, but it is likewise a crystalline polymer, made from caprolactam with chemical catalysts. Excellent mechanical strength, self-lubrication and heat resistance make it a popular replacement for metal. It is a commercial-grade material that runs continuously at high rotational speeds and high temperatures.

Features

  • High molecular weight and crystallinity

Formed by chemical reaction rather than physical molding, it has over 10 times the molecular weight and about twice the crystallinity of nylon 6, with minimal residual stress.

  • Excellent mechanical strength

Stronger and more durable than conventional nylon resins, with good dimensional stability, thermal properties, noise reduction, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance and creep behavior.

  • Wear resistance and self-lubrication

Excellent sliding performance makes it a suitable substitute for non-ferrous metals.

  • Chemical resistance

Resists organic solvents, oils and alkaline chemicals.

  • Continuous service temperature 120℃

Can run continuously at high rotational speeds and high temperatures.
