Outline
The many characteristics of the Duatron PI provide exceptional performance for applications that require wear resistance and long life in harsh environments. The Duatron PI is perfect for applications that exclude the thermal conditional Duatron PAI and do not require the superior thermal resistance of the Duatron CU60 PBI. As a result, the Duatron PI puff can be used in industries such as automobiles, aerospace, flight, defense, electricity, glass, nuclear power, and semiconductors.
Characteristic
-The maximum permissible use temperature in the air is extremely high [240℃ continuously, up to 450℃ in a short period of time]
-Excellent ability to maintain mechanical strength and creep resistance over a wide temperature range
-Excellent sliding properties and excellent wear resistance
-inherently low flammability
-Excellent electrical insulation and dielectric properties [applicable only to Duratron D7000 PI]
-Less gas emission in vacuum [dry material]
-High purity in terms of ion contamination [Duratron D7000PI]
-Highly resistant to high-power energy radiation
Applications
Valves used in semiconductor and electronic product manufacturing, pump sheets, seals (sealing) · abrasion surfaces, structural and abrasion parts, glass, plastic manufacturing, etc. Jigs and transport parts, and metal replacements used in aerospace parts
Grade
Duratron PI is available in several grades and a wide variety of shapes for structural and wear applications, especially thick plates, large geometric plates, and large diameter tubes.
Duratron D7000PI [PI; Color: Basic Grade (Brown)]
The base grade of the Duratron D700.PI_Duratron PI family, made from natural polyimide resin and with the best physical properties and electrical/thermal females.
Duratron D7045GPI [PI+graphite; Color: Black Gray]
This grade contains 15% graphite, which is added for wear resistance and friction resistance.
