PPSU

Outline

High impact resistance, resistant to steam sterilization, elastic modulus and heat resistance

Conformity with FDA requirements

Characteristic

QuadrantⓇ PPSU is an amorphous thermoplastic resin with better impact resistance and chemical resistance than polysulfone and polyetherimide (Duratron PEI).

Quadrant PPSU is often used as a material for sterilization equipment using steam because it has a very low water absorption rate compared to other amorphous thermoplastics. Steam sterilization is very suitable for manufacturing medical equipment, as it is widely used to sterilize medical equipment.

It is also resistant to acid and bases (including commercial cleaning agents) across various temperature ranges.

Quadrant PPSU is produced in the form of semi-finished products in bone white, and transparent colors are also available for custom production.

It is widely used for sterilization trays, dental and surgical tool handles, and fluid delivery coupling and fitting.

The Quadrant PPSU complies with USP Class VI and is ideal for use in electronic assembly equipment and parts that must withstand the temperature of soldering. The Quadrant PPSU has a thermal strain temperature of 207℃.

Applications

-a medical handle

Radel precision-processed handles are used for structural purposes in medical equipment and can also be used in high-pressure sterilizers in addition to their excellent impact resistance. (Previous material: stainless steel)

-Endoscopic Probe Positioning Ferrule

The handle of the endoscope probe rod is mainly processed by radel (Previous material: stainless steel)
