용도

Duratron CU60 PBI retains superior temperature resistance and mechanical properties compared to all basic thermoplastic grades at 200°C. It is extremely “clean” in terms of ionic purity and does not outgas (excluding water). Because of these features, it is highly valued in high-tech industries such as the semiconductor and aerospace sectors.

Duratron CU60 PBI is typically used in critical components to reduce maintenance costs and ensure valuable production uptime. It is used as a replacement for metals and ceramics in applications such as pump components, valve seats [high-tech valves], bearings, rollers, and high-temperature insulators.

Technical Information

High-tolerance fabricated parts should be stored in sealed containers (typically polybags with desiccant) to prevent dimensional changes due to moisture absorption. Before use, parts should either be quickly exposed to temperatures over 200°C for drying, or be kept in a dry state to prevent distortion due to thermal shock.
