Extruded Nylon Grades

ErtalonⓇ GS [PA66+MoS₂; Dark Gray]
This material has improved rigidity, hardness, and dimensional stability over Ertalon 66SA by adding MoS₂, although the impact strength is somewhat reduced.
The nucleating effect of molybdenum disulfide improves the crystalline structure, enhancing bearing properties and wear resistance.

ErtalonⓇ 6SA [PA6; Natural (White) / Black – “Can be used as a food-grade”]*
This material combines mechanical strength, rigidity, toughness, mechanical damping properties, and wear resistance in an optimal way.
In addition to these properties, ErtalonⓇ 6SA also has excellent electrical insulation and chemical resistance, making it a “multi-purpose” grade usable for machinery manufacturing and maintenance.

ErtalonⓇ 66SA [PA66; Natural (Cream) / Black – “Can be used as a food-grade”]*
This material has superior mechanical strength, rigidity, heat resistance, and wear resistance compared to ErtalonⓇ 6SA.
It also has excellent creep resistance, although its impact strength and mechanical damping ability are reduced.
It is a material very suitable for machining on automatic lathes.
Natural rods (diameter over 150mm) of ErtalonⓇ 66SA are made from a specific PA66 resin.

ErtalonⓇ 4.6 [PA4.6; Reddish Brown]
Ertalon 4.6 maintains better stiffness and creep resistance over a wide temperature range compared to other nylon grades, and it also has excellent thermal aging resistance.
Therefore, Ertalon 4.6 is mainly used in “high-temperature zones” [80–150℃] where stiffness, creep resistance, thermal aging resistance, fatigue strength, and wear resistance of PA6, PA66, POM, and PET are difficult to apply.

ErtalonⓇ 66-GF30 [PA66-GF30; Black]
This glass fiber (30%) reinforced and heat-stabilized nylon grade has improved strength, rigidity, creep resistance, and dimensional stability compared to pure PA66, while maintaining excellent wear resistance.
It also has a higher maximum usage temperature.

Cast Nylon Grades

NylatronⓇ MD [PA6; Navy – “Can be used as a food-grade”]
This product contains a metal-detectable additive and is specially developed for use in the food processing and packaging industries.
It is designed to be easily detected by existing metal detection systems used to identify food contamination (results may vary depending on the sensitivity of the metal detection system used).
Nylatron MD has improved wear and fatigue resistance and absorbs less moisture than standard PA6.
It is suitable for environments with temperatures up to 80°C and complies with food contact regulations.

ErtalonⓇ 6PLA [PA; Natural (Ivory) / Black / Blue]*
The cast nylon 6 grade shows very similar properties to Ertalon 66SA.
It not only has excellent strength, rigidity, and hardness, but also outstanding creep and wear resistance, thermal aging resistance, and machinability.

ErtalonⓇ 6XAU+ [PA6; Black]
Ertalon 6XAU+ is a heat-stabilized cast nylon grade with very high density and a highly crystalline structure.
Compared to existing extruded or cast nylons, it has excellent thermal aging resistance in air (with little degradation due to thermal oxidation), and its continuous allowable usage temperature is 15–30°C higher.
It is a very suitable material for bearings and other mechanical parts operating in air at temperatures over 60°C for extended periods.

ErtalonⓇ LFX [PA6 + Oil; Green]
Internally lubricated cast nylon 6 is, literally, self-lubricating.
Specially developed for parts under heavy load and slow motion in unlubricated conditions, Ertalon LFX is applicable in a wider range than standard cast nylon.
It has a significantly lower coefficient of friction (reduced up to 50%), greatly improved pressure-velocity capability, and much better wear resistance (up to 10 times better).

NylatronⓇ MC901 [PA; Blue]
The blue basic cast nylon 6 grade has improved toughness, flexibility, and fatigue resistance compared to Ertalon 6PLA.
It has been proven to be excellent for use in gears, supports (guides), and pinion gears.

NylatronⓇ GSM [PA6 + MoS₂; Dark Gray]
Nylatron GSM contains fine molybdenum disulfide particles that improve the bearing and wear performance of basic cast nylon without affecting its inherent impact and fatigue resistance.
It is a very commonly used grade for gears, bearings, chain sprockets, and pulley wheels.

NylatronⓇ NSM [PA6 + Solid Lubricants; Gray]
Nylatron NSM is a special cast nylon 6 formulation by Quadrant, containing solid lubricant additives that provide improved self-lubrication, excellent friction and wear resistance, and outstanding pressure-velocity capability (up to 5 times better than conventional cast nylon).
It is especially suitable for high-speed, unlubricated moving parts and perfectly complements the oil-added grade, Ertalon LFX.

NylatronⓇ LFG [PA6 + Oil; Natural (Ivory) / Blue]
Nylatron LFG (Lubricated “Food Grade”) is a literally self-lubricating product composed to comply with FDA food contact regulations.
It is specially developed for food contact parts that operate under high loads and slow movements in unlubricated conditions.
Compared to standard cast nylon, it requires less maintenance and has a longer service life.

NylatronⓇ 703XL [PA6 + Internal Lubricants; Purple]
This product is a high-performance cast nylon 6 bearing grade with wear resistance much better than Nylatron NSM, outstanding pressure-velocity capability, and developed as the industry’s first to reduce “stick-slip” to near zero.
By eliminating the stick-slip that often causes jerky movement noise, it enables precise motion control for high-precision applications.
