QuadrantⓇ PPSU is an amorphous thermoplastic that offers better impact and chemical resistance than polysulfone and polyetherimide (Duratron PEI).

Quadrant PPSU has extremely low moisture absorption compared to other amorphous thermoplastics, making it a preferred material for steam-sterilizable medical instruments. Steam sterilization is widely used for disinfecting medical equipment, making PPSU ideal for such applications.

It also exhibits excellent resistance to acids and bases (including commercial cleaners) across a wide range of temperatures.

Quadrant PPSU is produced in semi-finished form in bone white color, with transparent versions available upon request.

It is widely used in sterilization trays, dental and surgical instrument handles, fluid delivery couplings, and fittings.

Quadrant PPSU complies with USP Class VI and is highly suitable for use in parts for electronic assembly equipment where resistance to soldering temperatures is required. The heat deflection temperature of Quadrant PPSU is 207°C.
